I have had a few opportunities to represent Buyer’s on properties that are listed in the MLS but the Seller’s are basically representing themselves. In those instances the Realtor for the Buyer ends up a negotiator as well as a counselor to some degree. In a recent transaction I represented a foreign buyer who is a novice at buying property in the US and, as a result, faced many questions with regard to the process and the paperwork.
